How to create a proxy on a server for bittorrent use at home?

My ISP has throttled my connection for Bittorrent. I have a few dedicated servers with plenty of bandwidth and I want to install a proxy on one where only I can connect to it and possibly encrypted as well. If possible I'd like only bittorrent to use this connection so it won't affect games and other things. I notice the bittorrent client has a proxy setting so this is an option but I don't know what I need to install on my server to make this work. Please help. Thank you. I don't want a new OS, just a simple way to make a proxy. Not Helpful How do I create a bouncer? What program can I use? Thanks

  1. proxy shift the port, using a spare old computer box, running a vastly superior firewall/router system http://ipcop.org Run http://pclinuxos.com as it lets us reassign/shift ports, too.
  2. use mpx (look it up in downloads section) second way (which is simpler, and only a SOCKS 5 server): use bouncer or you can download proxyplus google it.
