How do you get other people to join your Ventrilo server?

I got a server running and I tested it myself and everything works fine. However, when I tried to get my friend to join, he couldn't find the server. Help upon this problem would be very appreciated. Please and thank you.

1. Read the manual that comes with Ventrilo server or do a google.
2. You have to configure your router to port forward the vent port to the server PC. That assumes your vent server is at a static LAN IP address, and you can port forward on your router properly...
