What computer requirements does a dedicated server for a PC game need?

I will be buying a new PC for dedicated server hosting for Halo CE. What (Intel) processor? How much RAM? Which PC? etc.

1. Well you need to look at the Halo Game first of all, what are IT's requirements. Obviously you must atleast match theirs. Now to host a server, you have to be able to handle traffic from multiple users. This means you should have a decent internet connection. The server should bost twice as much RAM as the Windows version requires. This will ensure that Windows has enough umph to run windows and enough RAM to run the game. See you want everything to have enough resources to operate without causing lag or limited activity to the rest of the machine. does that make sense?
