Your Server

i have windows XP and i have rented a Centos Dedicated server .how can i connect to it ? to see the desktop?

for example for connecting to a windows server to gain remote access you should go to start >programes>accessories>cominucation>Remore Desktop coonection. please tell is there any thing for Centos remote coonection in Windows ? or i should get some other software for it please give me the link and name of it thanks

1. It's most likely that your centos server does not have a GUI. In that instance, you would use SSH to connect to the terminal on the server, and run console commands from there. If it DOES have X installed, you can either use X-tunneling over SSH (http://www.cag.lcs.mit.edu/~wentzlaf/faq/ssh_X.html) or you can use VNC (http://skullbox.net/vncserver.php). Note that X tunneling requires an X server be installed on your windows machine (http://x.cygwin.com/)
