Is itpossiblefora UK citizen to file for litigation against a U.S company for breach of an internet contract?
I recently paid online for a dedicated server to a U.S based company. I was told i would get my account info and use of the server within 24 hrs. It is now 3 days later and no account info and no server. Despite my numerous e-mails i get no reply. After the 24 hrs had passed i managed to swap a couple of e-mails witha live customer support who assured me the server was being setup and would be available to me soon. But since tat still nothing. How to i go about making a claim for compensation against this company that is based in the U.S. I am in the UK. Thanks.

- You will pay 10-100 times more than your lost server fees if you would like to pursue this course of action. You were scammed. You didn't do your research of the company properly and now you are paying the price for it.
- Anything is possible under international law, particularly for clear cut territories like UK/US. To avoid expensive lawyers fees, you can get legal advise in the UK (or even Legal Aid) to obtain an injunction... that's assuming the other party is legit/operational.
