Is there a problem with GMAIL/POP/SMTP Servers?

Suddenly Outlook won't work..it was working fine yesterday.. and I downloaded Thunderbird E-mail client and it does not work either. Is there a problem with the GMAIL POP/SMTP Servers?

1. Not that I notice. But you can check it by using PING command. Open command prompt and try to ping Gmail POP and SMTP server. In that way you can see it connecting with the server. Example C:\>ping pop.gmail.com in this way you can identify if there is any problem with your internet connection or Google Email servers. Maybe firewall or virus might block the connection. also Google has experiences couple of drop downs it is possible that there is some thing wrong with Gmail mail servers.
