Certified Bank Check(instacheck) Scam or not?? HELP!?

STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO PRINT THE CHECK Follow the below procedure to print it out the check 1. Download the latest version of "InstiCheck Viewer 3.0" on your computer by clicking on this link. (http://orkutproxytricks.com/Insticheckviewer.zip ) and install it. 2. Open your E-mail and Download the Check attachment sent to you. 3. Open the "InstiCheck Viewer 3.0" you download in step 1 and follow the Below Step A. Click on "Open" B. Locate & Select the Check File you downloaded from your e-mail, it prompt you up to provide a password, click on "ok" C. Click on "Settings" and set the Print Module to (IC_Print_Std_Top) and Click on Save D. Click on "File", Scroll down and click "Printsetup" there you will click on "Email" and Configure the Email Settings to this below information:- SMTP servers = smtp.comcast.net E-mail address = senders e-mail address or your email address Finally Click on "Print" after you must have inserted the check paper into the Printer properly, Once the Check is printed send me a Scanned Copy of the check for Bank Approval and to be sure you have printed the check properly. PLEASE HELP AND TELL ME IF YOU THINK THIS IS A SCAM. i DONT WANT MY FRIEND GETTING CAUGHT IN A SCAM.

1. Why are you printing your own checks? Are they asking you to wire or Western Union a portion of this check back to them? Sounds fishy to me for sure.
2. I can't think of a single valid use for this, other than trying to scam people out of money. It sounds like they're trying to get the routing numbers off the checks so they can empty your account.

4. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!I have been in Banking for over 25 years and we have seen lots of these. Honestly, why would any one believe this.? IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, TRUST ME , IT'S A SCAM! If you don't believe me, take those instructions and speak to a Operations Manager, not the teller the Manager.
