VPN and Ubuntu 8.10 Linux server?

Until recently I have used Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition installed on dedicated server to connect with VPNs through the server to the Internet. Several users connecting via VPN simultaneously through the server to the Internet. Is it possible to have the same set up, but using Ubuntu 8.10 instead of Windows Server 2003?

1. Yes, but you will need to study the new configuration. Linux servers do assume a higher level of knowledge for administrators, they do not offer all the fancy guis of Microsoft.
2. Yep it works - well. However it can be a bit like a lego technics set compared to the big chunky duplo blocks you've been using. A bit of RTFM may be required.
