Your Server

Can i used Linux as server and others with windows operating system?

I am trying to open a cyber cafe and want linux only as server, if i used linux as server is it also need to install all computer with linux... Please help

1. sure just download the program ---copy it to c d and run it live---that way ur not dual booting
2. Absolutely but do install it permanently on the server to run off the hard drive, don't run it from the CD as the other post suggests. Linux will support having Windows machines on the same network.
3. No you need not install all the computer with linux. You can install server with IPCOP software (ipcop.org - firewall, webproxy, port blocking) and others can be normal XP, Vista computers accessing it.
