how to know that i have a dedicated server?

Is it real that i'm running my site on dedicated server? how to know this? help please?

1. If it has an operating system which you can remotely connect to. If you have full control over it - and the privileges to reboot and shutdown.
2. A dedicated server is a server that just performs one task primarily. Could be to run 1 game (create multiple virtual servers for different game rooms), or just store files. If you purchased the service of one, i'm not sure of any real way to tell although the company, by law, must provide you with that service or face prosecution under false advertisement and what not. If it's one you personally own, you'll know :)
