Tiscali is my broadband provider - what is my outgoing mail server with them that I can use with my gmail?
I am using Tiscali as my broadband provider - i use the apple mail application to receive all of my email. I do not have a tiscali email address, nor do I want one. I have a Gmail address. What is my out going server? Don't tell me smtp.tiscali.co.uk because that will only work with a tiscali email address. Thank you. I already did try smtp.gmail.com and I already googled it. Usually broadband providers have an outgoing mail server for separate email addresses. Like o2 has one - it's relay.o2broadband.com, but if you have an o2 email address its smtp.o2broadband.com

- Try SMTP.gmail.com? or just google it
- Using Gmail has nothing to do with your provider. By default it can only be used at Gmail's web site. There is an option to activate POP3 mail. It is free. When that is done it will give you the POP3 and SMTP addresses to use. Note that the SMTP address is used for outgoing mail and is optional. You can use Tiscali for outgoing mail and still receive Gmail. There will be a drop down list in the FROM field to display Gmail even though Tiscali is used. ₪ ɦəlʞɹɐq ₪
