Minimum Hardware for my first dedicated web server?
I am going to rent a dedicated server for my site, I will probably have no more than 1000 unique hits for the first six months, but I want it to be fast. Please tell me what is the best RAM, processor speed, and other relevant hardware to have. Thanks!

- Consider 2GM RAM with a Pentium processor. Apache on Linux will be a good choice. Hard disk will depend on your needs, but make a start with 120GB hard disk.
