I'm having trouble with the Microsoft Activesync software/Samsung Blackjack?

My computer and phone both show USB connection but the software won't recognize connection. After failing to connect the software scans and says "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and set it as mail default client". When I set up the e-mail Outlook Express I have to fill in the blanks for the POP3 server (incoming mail POP3 and outgoing mail SMTP) How do I find out what to type in those 2 sections? I use Comcast cable internet connection if that helps. Ok...I have that and it will not work
