HOW TO USE SMTP IN CMD ?

yeh peple, i ve a smtp server address (smtp.gmail.com),but it did not seems to working or if am lack of method used to send mail in smtp ! when i got connected first i helo/ehlo with server then when i type>> "mail from:<abc@xyz.com>" it says "MUST ISSUE A STARTTLS COMMAND FIRST" and when i type starttls it says "READY TO START TLS" then it waits for something and if i again type "mail" command . In few seconds connection is lost . plzz help me i am very new to this mailing concept but i need to know as this is a part of project !! so plzzz help me !!!!!!! thanx in adv ...... thanx but is there any other way to use smtp in cmd .waitin for reply

  1. SMTP is used in the mail protcol address. The Internet server AOL Earthlink Rogers and Bell are IP servers. The SMPT address is part of their outgoing mail address. They usually give you the POP address and the SMPT address as follows pop.server.com and smtp.server.com. All other use of SMPT really don't count as your server is the master.
