What is the difference between Windows xp and Windows 2003 Server?

Please tell me, I am new to computers, I know Xp is client based and 2003 server is server based, Please correct me if I am wrong friend.

The difference between the Operating Systems is that Windows 2003 server is built to handle multiple server applications and shares so that client computers running Xp can run better and more organized. XP has limitations on the number of network connections (XPHome = 5, XP Pro = 10) whereas Windows server 2003 is unlimited in theory (limited by the hardware such as Hard drive, Cpu power and RAM). With Windows 2003 server, terminal services can support more than one ts connection. Also the file storage protocols are more robust allow more files per device as well as greater security measures. Windows 2003 is far better at it's job of serving than XP. XP is better at being client.
