  1. ok. you need to open your ports for the game. log in your router by typing IPCONFIG in your cmd screen. start > type 'cmd' (vista) start > run... > cmd (xp) after you type IPCONFIG press enter, and you'll see lines appear. scroll up and you'll see Default Gateway. write that address in your internet's URL (where you write www.google.ca) enter username and password. now you're in your router. look around in your router and check for a place called port forwarding andmake sure you put the ports that are required for you to host. (you'll have to google up the ports you need to open because i never played that game). After that's set, just save the settings and you're good to go. (if they ask you for an IP address, go back to IPCONFIG and check for IPv4, that's what they want.) then, you can go in your firewall and make exceptions for your game. (start > firewall > exceptions) check the game. after all of that, theoretically, you should be able to host. -goodluck
  2. do what the guy above has just explained. what you can also do is to have your servers ip address or port on the DMZ so that it is out of your routers firewall restrictions. This is a location where it is open for access to anybody but they cannot get into your own network.
