enable Gmail smtp email?

i want to send emails from my ip camera using smtp. i think i'm following all the instructions to use the smtp.googlemail.com server, but the test keeps failing. can anyone help? thanks

1. The server is pop.gmail.com for incoming and smtp.gmail.com for outgoing. ✩
