Can ASPMail be used with Gmail as SMTP server?

HI I am user ASPMAIL by ServerObjects. We have since switched to Google Apps for email, as they sort the spam out nicely. Now though we are having trouble getting our Web Pages to send mail when we specify smtp.google.com as a SMTP server. The error we get is '530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. 23sm10820803hud.3 '. But we dont know how to get ASPMAIL to use SSL/TSL mode, any ideas?

1. You might have to find a different component, or a different SMTP server. OR... better.. run your own SMTP server. (easy if you are using IIS) Your outgoing SMTP server doesn't have to be the same box you are using for POP3.
