Yahoo Mail :: SMTP Server copy to Webmail Sent Folder like Gmail?

Hello... I love Yahoo Mail but is there anything "in the works" for this type of functionality? What it does is when you send an e-mail through Gmail's SMTP server, it will copy it to your Sent folder online. This is the only thing I happen to envy about Gmail over Yahoo Mail, and the closest thing to IMAP I've seen. Any news or word? Thx! I just want to know if this is something that will be added in the future (?).

1. GMail can not be compared with Yahoo Mail. Similarly as Yahoo cut down Hotmail to size, Gmail will do same to Yahoo in less time than Yahoo people think.
