I cant send emails using mozilla thunderbird. help!?

I have my own domain, and my own business email. I recently switched from Comcast to ATT Yahoo and I can't send emails. It's telling me the SMTP server setting are not configured. I changed the outgoing server settings to smtp.att.yahoo.com it's still not working. I called ATT tech support and they said they are not trained on Mozilla Thunderbird, only Outlook. If anybody has changed this, please help! Thank you!
