windows live mail?

i just installed windows live mail set up everything how i like it and set my comcast.net email as the default i synced everything i thought everthing was going ok but i noticed that i cant send any emails. it keeps giving my this error: The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'check' Server: 'smtp.comcast.net' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E Protocol: SMTP Port: 25 Secure(SSL): No Socket Error: 10060 i am running widows vista home premium then i installed this also on my home computer with is running xp for my mom i set everything up but it is also having the same problem and everytime she trys to make her default comcas.net email it doesnt save it so she has to make a new one everytime how can i fix these problems

  1. Invaribly, the ISP web sites have detailed instructions on how to set the dozens of switches and options to get mail pumps like Outlook Express to work. I suspect you'll need to provide SSL authentication, but that's just a guess.
