incoming em server type?

incoming em server type? pop3 imap or http????? incoming mail ? pop3 or imap server outgoing em server?? smtp name?? also do i check off the box that states outgoing server requires authentication? we use comcast high speed and yahoo. thank you I am trying to respond to a craigs list ad- for furniture for sale.
