Cannot send email using Comcast and Thunderbird!!?

It gives me this error message! Send Message Error Sending of message failed. An error occurred sending mail: Unable to connect to SMTP server smtp.comcast.net via STARTTLS since it doesn't offer STARTTLS In EHLO response. Please verify that your Mail/News account settings are correct and try again. I went to the mail/news account settings and it seems to me that everything is fine. This is my second account on thunderbird..

1. It seems to be ok. This is from Comcast. The Comcast Mail server settings are as follows: Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.comcast.net Incoming mail (POP3): mail.comcast.net Double check your settings and delete any other SMTP servers. Multiple outgoing servers seem to cause problems. You only need one for sending mail since you have the option to choose either for the FROM address in the actual email. ✩
