Eudora access to Yahoo mail plus on Hughesnet satellite?
I can't send messages using eudora and my yahoo mail plus account. I receive the following error. Should I use the hughes.net SMTP or Yahoo's? Neither seems to work? the error I receive is: Can't send to 'xxxx@bigfoot.com'. The server gives this reason: '550 RCPT TO:<xxxx@bigfoot.com> Relaying not allowed - please use SMTP AUTH'. What does use SMTP AUTH mean?

- SMTP AUTH stands for Authenticated SMTP. This means you need to tell the server who you are (username, password) before you can send email. No worries, though, your email client will do that automatically for you. You only need to make sure that you check the right box in your email client settings. Look at the following help page from Yahoo! for detailed instructions: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-27.html For Eudora, I think the specifics are: Tools>Options Under "SMTP Server (Outgoing)", make sure you check the box "Allow Authentication"
