block open smtp?

help blocking open smpt my server is sending out spam that seams through an open relay smtp. i have directions from the microsoft website and they did me no good. any help.

3. I assume you are using a third party mail server software, if so you have to disable relaying other domains which basically means no outgoing mail only internal mail will work. If you are using Microsoft's SMTP server you can disable it temporarily by stopping the service, this issue tough to prevent, either way if it continues your ISP will block the port
