Small business Server 2003?

Hi does any now how to setup my server for login by the internet. y have a web domain with ip adress and i would like to login on my server if i'm away. i have small business server 2003

  1. You either have to allow port forwarding on your router for all the ports you need to access, or set up a vpn connection. The firewall will also need to be set to allow the same ports.

  3. if you have a static IP at work then just forward ports 443 and 444 and 4125 to the server in your router, run the wizard and ensure you allow access to the items you want. then go external - type in https://yourexternalipaddress/remote or for email https://yourexternalipaddress/exchange and log on
  4. Remote web workplace is the easiest route to take. First, open up ports 80, 443, 444 and 4125 on your router and forward them to your server's internal IP address. Second, run the internet and e-mail wizard. Allow external access to remote web workplace (and whatever else you want). It gives you a clean, easy web interface to remote in to your server. By default, only domain administrators can access the server, so the security is pretty good.
