Is it possible to access Windows Small Business Server 2003 remotely?
Through the Internet; they installed it on my computer and I can't cope with it. How? I do not like it because it's bulky and I can't now read the office e-mail on my mobile

- Yes it is very easy.. First on the computer you are wanting to connect too.. you need to go to the control panel... In the control panel click on the System icon an a window will pop up with tabs on it There will be a tab that says "remote" or "remote desktop" click on that tab.. and click on what feature you want to open your system up as.. tip: have a aquired user name and password for the remote desktop.. so only you know who is logging in.. not haveing a user name or password will allow anyone to access yr system... then connecting to the computer all you will need is just the ip address of your computer.. and then you have a remote desktop...
- and if you have a dynamic IP, you can use a service like www.dyndns.com, or www.no-ip.com. If you use a router you may have to configure you port forwarding settings.
- If you just want to read your office e-mail from home or a mobil laptop and know the user name and password, this site can access it directly from the server. I use this method myself.
