Dedicated Server?

I use Steam and I play Counter-Strike 1.6 and i recently found my dedicated server tool. I can make a server but ti only allows people running on my home network to connect. What do i need to do to make it so that anyone on the internet can connect. Please give me detailed answers.

2. Usually its a misunderstanding about the address of the server machine. You probably are not on a dedicated IP. That means that there is an IP address for your machine that only works on the lan (others on your home network) and another IP which is the lans address to the internet. Try going to this site. http://whatismyip.com/ Right at the top of the page it will tell you the IP that is sees you coming from. That is the address that the people on the internet have to use to reach you.
