CAn you give me any free relaying SMTP server address for sending e-mail? Iam in need for sending emails automatically from my system, this requires relaying SMTP server. I found many, but they are cost expensive.............. can u tell me anything available for free........................

How do I change the SMTP Relay on a PHP Form? I have the same site on multiple servers. On the GoDaddy servers when the PHP form is submitted it errors out. GoDaddy Tech advises that when this form is on there servers I must change the SMTP Relay to http://relay-hosting.secureserver.net/ - Apparently anything not sent there from a GoDaddy PHP will fail. I've looked through the PHP form and didn't see anyplace to change that address - Any Advice?

HELP I NEED A SMTP SERVER!!!!!?!?!?!? I am in desperate need of a free smtp server that doesn't cap emails per day, rather cap them by hour or so. I've got a huge list to email and the email server on my host doesn't allow smtp relay which is what my software actually needs to work. I know google does 400-500 or so a day and thats it, my list is huge bigger than that and i cant do anything with it, cuz the list is constantly refreshing and its hard to stay on top of the workload!

SMTP server for Windows? Are there any free options for a simple SMTP server for Windows? What I need to do is send mail to the server from an application, and then browse the queue on the server. That's all. I don't need to actually have the server relay out the mails once it has received them. Browsing the queue is the important part. Of course, this task is simple if I had a BSD/Linux machine available, but I don't.

IIS SMTP relay question? Hello, we have a Windows 2000 server running IIS. We use it in house as a relay server to send out emails. We do this because the connection is in house and large file attachments are accepted almost instantly and the server sends it out using our DSL connection. My question is, how can I set up IIS so that every message that is RELAYED through this server gets a carbon copy of itself emailed to an email address? What I am trying to do is capture all emails that are sent out so that our legal department can review any issues with correspondence in case something of legal nature comes up. Having all outbound email messages carbon copied would be GREAT. We do not use Exchange, nor do we want to at this point. We want to stick with IIS for now so please, any solutions to IIS only! Is there such thing as a home SMTP relay? I have a TRENDnet TV-IP110 camera (IP Camera) that supports motion-triggered email alerts. You enter all of the mail settings into the camera's administration web page. Unfortunately, my Internet Service Provider (Sympatico) uses an Authenticated, SSL-Encrypted SMTP server on a non-standard port. Normally, this is great, since it lets me send email from anywhere using my ISP's SMTP server. The camera however does not support SSL. Is there a such a program (hopefully freeware) for either Windows or Linux that can create a local, unencrypted, unauthenticated SMTP server on my side of the firewall (to prevent misuse) which would then forward or re-send the email through my real SMTP server? I should think such a program would exist, but I am unable to find one, and not quite clever enough to write one myself.

Where to place SMTP server on network? I'm looking at building an SMTP server for our office. We have about 20 users who will be using it. A few questions here: 1.) Where on the network should it go- seems like we want it behind the firewall, but won't this make it so laptop travelers can't see it? Don't really want to force people to VPN just to send POP mail. 2.) Will the configuration (end-to-end Vs. Relay) affect where the server is placed? Relay seems like the way to go from behind a firewall, but do we need to manage a system on the other end to receive the relay or can it just relay out to other systems on the 'Net that we don't have anything to do with? Not sure I completely understand the functional difference between the configurations. 3.) may either do Mercury/32 on a Windows XP machine (don't have any seats of Server left) or Sendmail over Fedora. Windows 2003 SMTP server help!? Well I am having a issue with virtual SMTP servers. I am trying to make it so each domain on my windows 2003 box (Virtual dedicated) has its own IP address for sending mail. I setup a virtual SMTP server for each IP and domain but when I send mail through that IP/Domain it will use the servers default IP address to relay the mail out. Do you have any idea how to fix this so each virtual SMTP is sending with its own IP address? Or do you know of a SMTP server I can istall that will let me configure it this way? I have a bunch of domains hosted on a windows box and some clients reqire a dedicatged IP with rDNS for sending emails.

SMTP Server That Doesn't Suck? ? SMTP That Doesn't Suck? When I'm at home, I use the Comcast SMTP and that works well. You can't use that when you're traveling though. At work or when traveling, I use the SMTP from my GoDaddy.com hosting account. That server sucks. Slow, unreliable. I've written to them numerous times to tell them so, and jumped through their trouble shooting hoops (despite having previously verified the settings myself). They tell me it's fine. Anyway, I used to be able to connect to a secure SMTP from my college, but I no longer have that account. I tried using the SMTP from my .Mac account (I have it for iphoto and for calendar sync reasons) but don't use it for email. It doesn't want to let me relay email through it from my hosted site account. Anywhere I can get a secure SSL, reliable SMTP accessible on various networks?

Need help with home mail server setup.? I am trying to setup a home mail server. I am using SmarterMail 6.5 on Windows Server 2008. I can send mail via Gmail SMTP relay but cannot receive anything. I use dyndns.com free dns service which offers MX routing and is set to dynamic hostname. DSL modem in bridged mode and ports 110 and 25 forwarded from router to mail server. Netstat on server says both ports listening. Can telnet to both remotely. Any helpful suggestions appreciated.

Ok, I got the ASP mailer working, but now the Mail Server won't recieve the emails. Any ideas? I added theSendUsind schema and the port, username, and password, and the ASP mailer works with no errors. But the email never makes it to the inbox. How to setup a relay with Exchange 2003? I have exchange server 2003 setup at present which is fine, however I wish to integrate several users external mail accounts (Gmail etc.) into exchange. I already have a POP3 connector which connects to the external server and retrieves the mail on a predefined interval and that works fine, however I wish to have it so that when the users send E-Mail from their account and it is using the external E-Mail address that instead of sending the E-Mail direct to the end user from the exchange server, it relays through the external providers SMTP host so as to avoid problems with recieving servers running a reverse DNS lookup and then rejecting the E-Mails or flagging them as spam.

Why is mail sent from my server to Yahoo accounts going to Bulk folder? Email sent from our company's mail server to yahoo accounts is ending up in the Bulk folder. I see SMTP error code 451 and "Resources temporarily unavailable.." in /var/log/maillog. I have checked to make sure that our server is not acting as a Mail Relay and it has the proper PTR (rDNS) records in my hosting provider's DNS. I have filled out the Application form that Yahoo sent me and mailed it to them, but I have'nt heard anything yet on this issue. Will Changing My IP get me off spamhaus and CBL blacklists? Please help me. I am a web designer who also does the IT for an insurance company. (I have NO experience in the IT field, and until recently NO PC experience. I switched when my Mac crashed 4 months ago.) My boss has a distribution list full of insurance agents (10K+) to which he sends out a weekly newsletter. GoDaddy, through which he his two websites hosted, doesn't allow for more than a certain amount of emails to be sent out each month. My boss is extremely frugal and refuses to buy more SMTP relays from GoDaddy. So I found him a program that allows us to use the computers here as a SMTP server, which worked fine for a few days then we got our IP blacklisted. We were able to get off of some of them but others had us listed because the bigger lists still had us listed. I figure if I could get a new IP address, I could avoid being blacklisted by splitting the distrubution lists and having him send emails less frequently. I contacted my ISP and i have a dynamic IP. I should also mention that we were taken off of both list for about 3 days then relisted.

It seems Yahoo has blocked our IP address sothat when we send email to any yahoo users,they don't receive it. Hello, When my users in the office sends email to yahoo users, yahoo users can not receive email because we are using ip address given by our web hosting company as SMTP server to send email to out side users. Because of this configuration, it seems Yahoo has blocked our IP address as a result yahoo users can not receive emails that we sent(not in Bulk folder also). Godaddy & SMTP (outgoing mail)? Hi, I've recently set up a godaddy account, and I am trying to set up my email accounts via Mozilla Thunderbird. I've followed the tutorials on GoDaddy and I can receive the emails perfectly. But when I try to reply or compose a new message, it doesn't want to work. It just says "Sending of message failed". I've set up the smtp settings as follows: Port 80 Server name = smtpout.secureserver.net Username = myemail@domain.com Secure connection: none. Additionally, I have set up 250 relays per day on my email account. Any help would be appreciated How do you check the services on your computer? thanks!

Why cannot we send email through SMTP from a device behind NAT? I have a computer which is behind a NAT router. If I try to initiate a SMTP connection from my computer to some destination, the connection times out. However if I use some replaying server like GMail, AOL etc for relaying the mail it works fine. I am not looking for vague answers relating to firewall settings and all that but specific one which relates to the functioning of the SMTP and Ident protocol. Hope someone has a clear and possibly detailed explanation for this behavior. Is this just to avoif relaying, if so how does this work. Adding more details to what I am trying to achieve: 1. Install IIS SMTP server on Windows XP PC 2. The PC is connected to the internet through a NAT through a DSL router. 3. I try to send mail through localhost (since it has a SMTP server running). 4. The server tries and then times out while sending a mail. Case 2. 1. Do this with a computer connected without a router directly to the internet (eg university LAN) This means that there is no NAT translation involved. 2. The above procedure works perfectly. Hope it makes more sense now! I used Wireshark to capture packets, and found out that there was no incoming transmission; only outgoing TCP syn packets to the SMTP server. The ISP ATT doesn't block access to SMTP servers so that is ruled out In fact on connecting without the router configured for NAT translation SMTP works fine. It seems that the SMTP server is trying to authenticate the sender somehow (not sure of the details, IDENT protocol?) but is failing because of NAT traversal since NAT cannot accept incoming connections on TCP 113 without forwarding. I am leaving this open if someone could shed more light on this (the exact authentication protocol SMTP servers go through (to avoid relaying?) Thanks for all the responses!

My e-mail was returned used Outlook to send it but it came back? I sent an e-mail to somebody using Outlook and it was returned obviously by the server. The e-mail address is correct however there must be something wrong with either my Outlook or the mail server of my friend that i'm sending to. The only details I can give you is that it was returned by a valid Mail Delivery system and said the reason was: SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT and then at the end after it told me who I sent it to etc it said: Relay access denied What is going on? Somebody please help me out! One more real important thing is that I tried sending an e-mail using MSN and that worked fine ... why the hell can't I use Outlook and why the problems? I can't get my outlook express to work.? I can recieve mail but not send it. I checked with my isp and the smtp is entered correctly. when I hit send I get a message saying relay access denied, port 25 secure, no server error.
